Hey everyone! I'm an independent dad from the east coast of the United States. I run trails, practice yoga, and do many independent dad things. In 2015 I was diagnosed with a rare movement disorder called Dystonia. The nutshell version is that at times I can have difficulty controlling muscular contractions. It affects my daily tasks and from time to time has reared its comedic head when I've been running. I run to teach my kids that we can do things despite what hurdles we might have in the way. To teach them that hurdles are just part of life and we have to figure out how to get over them... or run around them!
