Marisa is a professional ballet dancer, currently dancing in Dallas, TX. She is also an American Ballet Theatre Training Curriculum certified ballet teacher. She began her dance training at the young age of 4. She began her pre-professional training with Brandywine Ballet Company, where she studied under Donna Muzio, Nancy Page, Tim Early, Martha Chamberlain and Meredith Rainey. While there, She performed works by Meredith Rainey and George Balanchine. After high school, she continued her training with American Repertory Ballet, where she attended their trainee program for two years. She studied under Douglas Martin, Kathleen Moore, Maria Youskevitch, and Kirk Peterson. In the summer of 2016, Marisa received her teaching certification through American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum’s. In 2016, Marisa joined The Montgomery Ballet. She then moved to Dallas to dance with Ballet Dallas and Dallas Neoclassical Ballet. Marisa is so excited to share her love of Nuun and muuvement with the world!
