About Me
William Hartley started running in high school (Taft H.S. Bronx, NY) in the fall of 1998 (track & cross country). In 2001, he ran one season for the cross country team at Mercy College(Dobbs Ferry, NY). alone to continue his studies (2006 graduate) and left sport for 10 years until a health scare in 2017 changed his outlook. With help from his best friend, William got back in shape starting with strength training and eventually finding his way back onto the road with running again. In 2018, he completed the New York Road Runners borough sextet( running in all nyc boroughs) Fred Lebow half, United Airlines NYC half, the Brooklyn Half, the Bronx 10 Mile & the Staten Island Half. In November 2019, William finally reached the super bowl of marathon running... The NYC marathon finishing at 4:40. Anything is possible as long as you put pen to paper and plan it.
