About Me

I am a South Jersey transplant who after graduate school in New Mexico moved to Hawaii for 8 years where I met and fell in love with triathlon and endurance racing in general. After a friend in 2014 said, "hey, let's do this women's triathlon!" and I blindly agreed, I quickly came to love/hate the sport. Since then I have raced countless sprints and olympic distance triathlons. I even began to find that strange long-distance run love and spent 2018 successfully focusing on improving my marathon time after returning to New Mexico and training at over 5000ft above sea level. I have a dog named Sophie who is a pibble-mix and will be your best friend within 2 minutes of meeting you and a husband who supports my desire to better my athleticism so long as I finish before kickoff (Fly Eagles Fly!). If I'm not training I am eating, camping, worshiping the sun, and did I mention eating? Just checking.
2019 will be my first attempt at a 70.3 - I am heading up to Boulder for the big race! I train in Albuquerque with Trail Dog Tri and I love having such an amazing group of athletes who I can also call friends train, race, and socialize with on a regular basis!
